Dondo and Sosa need your help!
German Shepherds serve us all the time. Police, Military, SAR, they are at the top of the list. A day does not go by without a shepherd hero.
One of the saddest stories happening right now. There are two retired working dogs sitting in kennels at the Phila SPCA. There is no question they are not puppies, but grown dogs There is no question they are the best of the breed. They have met their duties in spades. They have worked all their lives and retired first to a rescue to find them homes and wound up at the Philly SPCA who is trying to place them. They are good dogs. They have energy. They have amazing intellect.
They need a real family all their own. No one – not any dog but especially not hard-working dogs who keep us and our world safe – should be sitting in a kennel month after month for years. They need good people – veterans, military, former military or a person and family who understands the possible issues, higher energy, and protectiveness. They need a family to foster or adopt.
If there is anyone in Delaware who wants the love and loyalty of the best of the best for as long as they have this is your chance to love them back.
We have such great adopters. Surely someone is or knows the perfect person who is a Dondo match and who is a Sosa match. We are posting their information, not because we ran out of our own dogs but because Dondo and Sosa are the most deserving of shepherds and they need us.
